How to Care for Your Modular Home Skirting and Fencing Products

You can clean your skirting or fencing with a mild detergent and water. For tougher jobs a soft -bristled brush may be used. Make sure to rinse thoroughly.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, sandpaper and abrasive pads that may damage the surface of the skirting system.

Warranty Coverage

Mosaic Industries Inc. warrants to the property owner named in a properly registered form that, under normal use and after proper installation and subject to the terms and conditions of our Limited Manufacturer Warranty, our products will not, due to manufacturing defect, weather unevenly, corrode, peel, flake, or delaminate. Uneven weathering means uneven or non-uniform change in color of contiguous elements under uniform, even and equal exposure to sunlight, natural radiation, rain, natural extremes of temperature or other atmospheric conditions. This Limited Manufacturer Warranty shall remain in force until the date all the property owner(s) named in this Certificate cease to own an interest in the property.

Conditions Not Covered by this Warranty

The Limited Manufacturer Warranty coverage specified above relates only to defects in the manufacturing of skirting and fencing, as enumerated above. Without limiting the foregoing, this Limited Manufacturer Warranty does not cover damage caused by, among other things, weathering, oxidation, faulty or improper installation, settlement of the building, failure of the structure (including foundations and wall), frost heave, use of incompatible accessories, fire, flood, lighting, ice, wind-borne objects, windstorm, earthquake, hurricane, sun, cyclone, gale, tornado, weather of a catastrophic nature, Acts of God, intentional acts, unreasonable use, misuse, physical abuse, weed-eater damage, corrosive atmosphere (such as those contaminated by acid rain, harmful chemicals or vapors), negligence in or failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance to prevent an accumulation of surface dirt, chalk, staining or mildew, or damage resulting from the use of harmful cleaning compounds.

Important

Color change of the Skirting and Fencing Products due to weathering is excluded from this Limited Manufacturer Warranty, since weathering will cause any colored surface to gradually lighten, darken, chalk, or acquire a surface accumulation of dirt or stains. The severity of these conditions depends on air quality, the geographic location of the property, and other local conditions over which the manufacturer has no control. Weathering is defined as changes caused by exposure to sunlight, rain, and extremes of temperatures and other atmospheric conditions.
